Artifact Property Data Formats

When you define a new artifact property, you must manually set a data type and data format for the artifact property.

Supported data types include

  • Text
  • Number
  • Date/Time
  • Picture

To add a new data format to the data types list

  1. Click the add button.
  2. In the Add format window, under Format type, select a data format type.
  3. In the format list, select the data format you want to add.
  4. If the format is a number or date/time, select Little Endian or Big Endian.
  5. If the data type is Text, in the Encoding list, select a text encoding algorithm for the text.
  6. If the data type is Text, in the Codepage list, select a code page for the text.
  7. Click OK.
